ACE Plumbing and Heating is looking for an experienced, full time HVAC Service Technician to join our busy Service Department. We are a family run company with more than 40 years in the Okanagan and recognize hard work. The is a permanent, full-time position and we keep all our employees (now more than 90) busy year-round. The position will require the tech to diagnose, repair and maintain both residential and commercial equipment. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of HVAC related experience. Your core duties will include:

• Perform a wide range of HVAC service and maintenance work from minor fixes to complicated issues for residential and commercial customers

• Diagnose, quote, install, repair and maintain HVAC equipment and systems in residential settings

• Provide exceptional customer service, explaining to customers the issues diagnosed and the path to repair

• Install and repair condensers/coils, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless splits, air handlers, humidifiers, HRVS and other HVAC equipment

• Order materials and equipment

• Communicating directly with customers

• Be able to handle the physical requirements of the job: heavy lifting, climbing ladders

• Work closely and respectfully with dispatcher

Additional duties may include:

• Working form heights and confined spaces

License, Certification and Experience Requirements

• Driver’s License (required)

• Refrigeration ticket (required)

• Class B Gas Ticket (required)
